Oxford Partnerships:

The goal of the Oxford Partnerships is to promote growth in the Oxford tourism sector and generate visitors to Oxford. Eligible projects are those that target visitors from outside Oxford and Lafayette County for the explicit purpose of generating hotel/motel/B&B business and sales among food and beverage establishments in Oxford, Mississippi. Oxford Partnerships are funded by the local 2% hotel/motel tax and the 2% prepared food and beverage tax collected among Oxford establishments and is administered by Visit Oxford (Oxford Tourism Council).

Preference will be given to events that drive hotel room nights in Oxford hotels from Sunday-Thursday nights and during the months of December-February and July-August.

Bags:

Visitor Welcome Bags can be purchased from the Visit Oxford Visitors Center.  These bags contain visitors brochures and information about tourism related items in Oxford.  These bags are meant for the purpose of educating visitors from outside Lafayette who are staying overnight in an Oxford Hotel, Motel or Bed and Breakfast.  The first 30 bags for events are free and each bag beyond 30 costs $1.  Multiple requests for the same event by different individuals is prohibited. To order please fill out the form and email it to tourism@visitoxfordms.com, the Visitors Center Staff can be contacted for questions at 662.232.2477, Bag orders must be placed 48hrs in advance of your desired pickup date.
