Benny Melton has covered a lot of ground in the nearly 5 years he has been in Oxford. Here for an MFA in painting, he is a dedicated and gifted artist, enthusiastic student and a great friend to many. Benny’s Plein Air paintings of the Oxford area and Ole Miss campus and community are widely collected. His work is not limited to Mississippi landscapes; his figurative work is equally coveted.
