On Saturday, September 26, from 9 am-2 pm the Cub Scouts of the Yocona Area Council, Boy Scouts of America will be hosting a Cub Scout Recruiting Day at the Lafayette Country Multipurpose Arena for new Cub Scouts,  youths ages 6-10.  This is a come and go fun event that includes games, BB-guns, bows and arrows, hot dogs, and rockets to launch.  Hot dogs will be served from 11:30-1:30. Each Cub Scout Pack will be on hand to meet parents and new Cub Scouts to share with them about the Cub Scout Pack. After choosing a Pack and joining, each new Cub Scout will receive a ticket for the BB-guns, bows and arrows, and an actual rocket that they will build and launch that day.  The cost to join Cub Scouts is $58 which is a first-time joining fee and prorated membership.  Boy’s Life Magazine is an extra $6 and is optional.
