Spencer Coplan and team bring a night of casual American Chinese food to the Oxford square. This funday Monday night pop-up dinner will feature simple, wholesome, and out-of-control delicious favorites like General Tso chicken, crab rangoon, and some exciting surprise dishes as well as beer & whiskey pairings and a tiki drink menu. Reservations recommended, but not required, and may be made by calling The Wine Bar at 662-238-3500. Full menu will be served at the bar, which is first come, first served. Chef Spencer Coplan has been making a splash in the Memphis food scene since 2017 with his love for Chinese food. With a background in fine dining, and after working in award-winning restaurants such as Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen and the Grey Canary, Spencer has opened a permanent location for his pop-up concept, Wok’n in Memphis on South Main. These American-style Chinese dishes are what most of us associate with Chinese food. Spencer will take your Chinese take-out favorites and church them up with his super chef skills and eye for quality ingredients.
