The Oxford Film Festival will be celebrating Halloween with a screening
of the 1975 classic, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at the Powerhouse on October 31 st
beginning at 8:00pm. This year’s screening is in remembrance of Ron Shapiro.
The screening will not only just feature the Halloween hit film but props are encouraged
to be brought in or available for purchase. Tickets are available now at $20 for an advance ticket,
but tickets are only $15 for members of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council or Oxford Film
Festival. Prop bags are also on sale for $5 to encourage participants to have more fun and make a
bigger mess. Tickets will be sold for $25 at the door. Concessions and beverages sold at the
event raise funds to support the Oxford Film Festival. Do the time warp again and support the
