St. Peter’s Pumpkin Patch

For over 30 years, the lawn of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church has been transformed into a pumpkin-filled wonderland. Known as Oxford’s “Pumpkin Church,” this patch is more than just a place to pick your perfect jack-o’-lantern it is also a community tradition.

Each October, truckloads of pumpkins arrive, filling the church lawn with every shape and size you can imagine. Families and students stop by for photos, children pick out their favorites, and visitors get to experience a true slice of Oxford charm. The best part? Proceeds from the patch support the church’s youth programs, so every pumpkin purchased helps give back.

Hours usually run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. It’s the perfect downtown stop before grabbing lunch on the Square or heading out for more fall adventures.
