Discover Oxford Treehouse Gallery: A Unique Art Gallery in Oxford, Mississippi

Just 15 minutes from the Oxford Square, Oxford Treehouse Gallery is tucked away in a quiet setting that feels worlds away from the bustle of town. Surrounded by trees, the gallery offers visitors a peaceful escape while remaining close to everything Oxford has to offer.

True to its name, stepping inside the gallery feels like being among the treetops. Large windows bring the outdoors in, and the screened-in back porch, which stretches the entire length of the building, provides a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Celebrating 12 years in Oxford, the gallery features the work of more than 40 artists. Visitors can browse impressionistic oil paintings by CM Cooper, landscapes by Chesley Pearman, ceramics by Matt Long, and handcrafted jewelry, textiles by Jill Foote-Hutton, and so many more. The collection includes paintings, pottery, sculpture, and mixed media pieces from artists across the South.

Owners Vivian and Walter Neill live on the property, giving the gallery a warm, personal feel. Behind the gallery, visitors can spot their chicken coop and Walter’s workshop, while their home sits nearby. They recently began renting the apartment beneath the gallery, which is featured on the gallery’s Instagram.

One unique aspect of Oxford Treehouse Gallery is its art-on-loan program. Guests are encouraged to take pieces home before purchasing to make sure they fit their space and are something they truly love, creating a thoughtful and welcoming experience unlike any other.

Gallery hours are Thursday–Saturday, 12–5 p.m., with appointments available by request.
