Proud Larry's- An Iconic Music Venue in Oxford, MS
Known simply as "Larry's" by locals, this restaurant/music venue has had amazing musicians hit the stage.
Proud Larry’s has been a pillar of Oxford’s music scene for over 30 years. Most visitors may know it as a great casual spot to grab lunch or dinner with friends or family. At first glance, the venue is quite unassuming. Head upstairs to the main dining area and you’ll see posters to the ceiling, some signed, of artists that have played Proud Larry’s through the years.
Notable artists such as John Mayer, Elvis Costello, Warren Zevon, Modest Mouse, The Black Keys, Jason Isbell, Kurt Vile, Tank and the Bangas, Cedric Burnside, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Maggie Rose, Pokey LaFarge, Blue Mountain have all graced the Proud Larry’s stage.
