The Oxford Parks Commission offers a variety of parks in the Oxford community. From playgrounds and walking trails to skateparks, Oxford’s parks offer many activities for visitors of all ages.

Avent Park

Located on Park Drive, it includes four recently renovated lighted tennis courts, a picnic pavilion, walking trail, baseball field, playground and quiet areas.

Bailey Branch Park at FNC

This new park consists of a playground, pavilion, wildflower garden and walking path. The park is located at the corner of Hwy. 7 South and Office Park Drive.

Hank Aaron Complex

Located behind the Activity Center on Price Street, the Triplex contains three baseball fields, a batting cage, one pavilion, and a covered playground.

mTrade Park

Oxford’s newest complex. The 75+ acre  park features 5 soccer, 8 baseball, and 3 softball fields. The park also features a walking track.

Oxford Skate Park

Completed in 2006, the skate park is located on Bramlett Blvd. across from the Oxford-Lafayette Public Library. The park also has a pavilion and playground.

Patricia C. Lamar Park

“Pat” Lamar Park was designed as an outdoor arboretum to be enjoyed for its’ greenery, lovely walking trails, garden features, and quiet lake. It is named in honor of Oxford’s first female mayor from 1997-2001.

Price Hill Park

Located on Price Hill Road, the park consists of a baseball/softball field, park pavilion, playground, spray pool, and an outdoor basketball court.

River’s Hill Park

OPC recently constructed a new park for the Rivers Hill community, located on Pegues Road. The new park consists of a playground, open air pavilion, and two outdoor basketball courts. The project was completed in Fall 2009.

Soccer/Softball Complex

Located on McElroy Drive, the complex contains two lighted softball fields, two lighted soccer/football fields, a pavilion, and a playground.

Stone Park

Stone Park is located at 423 Washington Avenue (across from City Pool) and features a park pavilion, recreation center, playground area, and a baseball field.
